THE RELAY RACING IN ATHLETICS
It is a branch -in athletics- of racing against time as a team where each runner must hand off a 30 cm. baton to the next runner.
The relay racing, originally during the Ancient Greek times was run with torches in hands and it was first introduced to Olympic Games in 1895. Today, the relay racing teams consists of four athletes that run for 100, 200, 400 and 800 meters.
The aim of a team member is to complete his part of the track as fast as he can with the baton in his hand and then to deliver it safely to the next member of the team for his run. The relay racing is the only team race in athletics performances where the reward at the end of the game is always for the team effort and not solely for the individual runner.
THE RELAY RACING IN A4 OFSET
Printing business is also a race against time, ran by a team of professionals, who work collaboratively on several, progressive and consecutive phases within the production process.
A4 Ofset, who set off on a marathon as team of four in 1985, based in a 26 m² print house, is still on the race, with now a team of 50, located on a 4500 m² wide production zone and without even a slight deviation from the lane.
The achievement and success of A4 Ofset lies upon the team’s professional ability to carry the work from one phase to the next flawlessly and punctually within the production process.
It’s our philosophy, here at A4 Ofset, to take over the baton from you, to add our professional expertise and hard work on it, and before handing the baton back to you, making sure that we are still leading the race, as we approach to the finish line together.
